By way of introduction, my name is Tariq Sattar and I am the incoming President of the Sprott Accounting Students Association (SASA) for the 2012/2013 academic year. I am very excited to take on the challenges that await me and look forward to earning the support of the Sprott Accounting community. The current council has done an absolutely amazing job this year and deserves the utmost recognition for their hard work and dedication to SASA. My team and I wish to build on the heights the current council has reached and continue to show case the talent of Sprott accounting students and serve the Carleton accounting community. We have great ideas and plans on which work has already begun, but we are in search of a team of hard working and dedicated students to join us in making our vision a reality. Today I extend an invitation to all Sprott students to consider joining the SASA council by applying to one of the many positions available. We have seen SASA go so far and achieve so much, but now we have the opportunity to be part of the success and push further into the future. So apply and let’s make next year the best year yet.  The deadline for applications is March 16, 2012.
